TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Here at Arriba Rent a Car we want you to have a wonderful stay in Alicante. We know that travelling and driving abroad can be stressful so we strive to make life as easy for you as possible by making our service a transparent one. The price we quote you is what you pay. There are no deposits* or extra charges on arrival in Alicante, as all our rental vehicles are legally insured and with IVA (vat) included in the price. Although we do not take a deposit on collection of the vehicle, our policies do have an excess of up to 600 Euro, which would be payable in the event of damage. The hirer is responsible for the return the vehicle in the same condition as hired with normal use. Heavy soiling, excess sand, stains , damage, burns to interior etc will be charged.

We don't want you to have any nasty surprises after a fun day out during your stay, so please do not leave any personal items in the vehicle. This would be done at your own risk. If a window was broken to get at your belongings for example it would cost you more than your lost bag as our insurance does not cover glass, which would be chargeable, as would any parking or traffic fines incurred (plus 40 euro admin fee), towing charges and release from vehicle deposit for illegal parking etc, lost vehicle keys, and damage to tyres.

In the event of a collision there is an accident report form in the glove box which would need to be fully completed with your details and the other vehicles information. You could also call the police to assist you at the scene. We do ask that in the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle you contact us as soon as possible on +34711017118. Repairs must not be carried out on the vehicle by the customer without the permission of arriba rent a car.

We do not have a fuel charge here at Arriba rent a car, all we ask is that you return it as you find it as any deficit would be charged PLUS A REFIL CHARGE OF 20 EURO. Please be sure to use the correct fuel. If incorrect fuel is deposited, the hirer would be responsible for any costs to repair the vehicle plus a full tank of correct fuel.

Mileage is unlimited, however please do not take the vehicle outside mainland Spain.

You are almost on holiday and are looking forward to some relaxation, but please do not drink and drive.

Spain has strict drink driving laws, only allowing 0.5 milligrams of alcohol per millilitre of blood - stricter than the UK where the limit is 0.8. New drivers are effectively forbidden to drink and drive, with a very low 0.1 mg/l limit. Drugs and driving are also against the law. The hirer shall take full responsibility for the total value of the vehicle and any third party costs incurred if they are found to be involved in any kind of infraction or accident and are above the legal limits of the law.
